Go PITT!

We can take the boys out of Pittsburgh, but not the Pittsburgh out of the boys. :) They showed some Pitt-pride in their new t-shirts! :)

The Birthday boy--Liam

We went to Cleveland for Liam Haskins' first birthday party. It was a really fun day. While the boys are all still a little young to be playing together, it makes me excited to think about years to come! :)

Congratulations Mike and Linnea!

The bride and groom: Mr. and Mrs. McConnell

JD, Erik, Mike and Steve
Carissa, Linnea, and I
It was a beautiful wedding--and a whole lot of fun! Congratulations Mike and Linnea! :)

Papa and Ben on the pony

Enjoying some fair snacks--Ben dropped some sugar from his doughboy on Eli's head.

This nice lady let Carissa, Nana and Ben pet her baby goat

Steve and Eli checking out the cows

We took the boys to the Albion Fair to eat some yummy fair food and see the barn animals. It was a fun night. Carissa, Charlotte, Nana, and Papa came with us. Ben even got to ride the pony!

White Turkey

Nothing makes it feel like summer quite like eating at the White Turkey! They have the best turkey sandwiches and rootbeer. YUM!!

The Penninsula

We went to the penninsula this summer (first time in a long time for me!). Ben enjoyed playing in the sand and wading in the water. Eli didn't like the sun too much but was a cute beach bum.

Playing in the Water

Ben loves to run through the sprinkler at Grandma and Grandpa's house this summer!

The Aviary

We had a great time taking the boys to the National Aviary. It was actually really cool to see all the birds.
Ben loved the penguins the best (both real and fake). He periodically would yell "GOOOO PENS!" while we were there. heehee. You can tell we live in Pittsburgh!
These blue pigeons were pretty neat looking, but also creepy close to us!
Eli finally woke up and wondered where he was. :)
You can crawl into the penguins exhibit and check them out up close and personal.
Ben and I checking out the flamingos. Pretty neat!
Steve and Ben looking at the birds. (Don't ya love Ben's hair? it was so hot and humid!)

4th of July at the Cabin

The whole Cochran family got together at the Means/Kozain's cabin this year in Cooks Forest for the 4th of July. We had such a good time. The boys loved playing with their cousins and running around outside all day. What a great 4th of July!

Charlotte Rose Iszkula!

The boys finally have a little cousin! Erik and Carissa had a little girl, Charlotte Rose Iszkula. She is so cute!!! I'm sure she has many many years of being terrorized by Ben and Eli in her future! Hopefully she'll hold her own. :)

Memorial Day Weekend

We went home to Erie for Memorial Day Weekend and saw lots of family and friends. The boys had a great time. :) Ben and Eli even saw their first parade! At the end of each section of the parade, Ben just said "More please."

Ben's cookie monster impression

Ben has been doing an impression of cookie monster, and while it is annoying to pick up all of his crumbs, it is pretty funny.

Baseball

My favorite video yet! Ben "counting" to three before he hits the ball off the tee! I love it!

Our new wheels

After a long debate and a lot of research, we finally purchased the One Step Ahead sit N stand double stroller. It's awesome! Definitely worth the investment! :) It can be 2 toddler seats, an infant and a toddler seat, a bench and a seat, or a standing place and a seat. Lots of options for active Ben! It's pretty cool and helps steve and I be able to go on walks again.

Eli-2 months old

Eli turned 2 months old on 5/13/10. He now weighs 13#8oz and is 23 1/2 inches long. He is sleeping for about 5 hours consistently at night--sometimes we get 6 hours even! He puts up with a lot of love (hugs, kisses, etc) from big brother Ben. Eli also started going to daycare this past week and is doing quite well.
